NYC in one day

My latest adventure- visiting NYC for one day. Why? To visit not one but TWO friends. It was a long day- but worth it.

When I say one day- I mean one day. From DC I took the 6:30am bus to NYC. Arrived by 11:00am. And took the 10:00pm (umm I missed the 8:00pm).

There's a lot to see and do in the city that never sleeps. So for this one day here's what I did:

A stroll through The Whitney Museum.

A promenade along the High Line.

A walk to the West Village for lunch at Caracas Arepa Bar.

Two scoops of gelato at Il Laboratorio del Gelato.

People watching at the Rockefeller Ice Skating Rink.

Finally dinner- with lifelong friends.

Pictures below are from my lunch at Caracas Arepa Bar. A tiny hole in the wall restaurant that serves fresh corn flour known as 'Arepa' from Venezuela.

Just taking a moment enjoying life in NYC.

While the trip was exhausting, I have no regrets. It was surreal, to effortlessly travel to another city just for fun & for one day.
