Frozen Italian Soda = Best Summer Snack

Hot weather calls for cold treats. Ice cream, iced coffee, or granita. What's granita? Italian shaved ice. A refreshing flavored ice treat enjoyed by Italians to cool off from the hot Italian Mediterranean sun.

I found this great SIMPLE granita recipe using San Pellegrino soda.

Here are the steps to this semi-homemade summer treat:

• Pour your favorite San Pellegrino soda into any container (Here are their flavors!)

• Place in your freezer

• Wait a couple of hours

• Then enjoy!

How to eat the granita? Scrape the top layer of the frozen soda using a fork. How does it taste? Well I think the top layers of ice taste like well... ice. All the good flavoring of your favorite soda is at the bottom. Keep enjoying until you are cooled off.
