Kent Island - A quick visit

Jammin' at the Jetty - that's what I did on a recent Saturday with my boyfriend. We stopped on Kent Island on the way back from Easton, Maryland before heading home.

The Jetty Dock- painted like a Caribbean shack- is the perfect spot to pull up with your boat, grab a cold beer and pound crabs. I have a feeling the party never stops at the Jetty.

If you don't want to eat bar food, walk over to Bridges. Right next door, it's more refined it decor and menu selection. The view is equally as beautiful.

Kent Island isn't much of an island. A bunch of big bars, restaurants, and hotels, all lined up along the water for a speculator view. To be fair, I didn't visit Stevensville, Grasonville, or Centreville. But I can tell you, the vistas and breeze of the Chesapeake Bay made me so happy. I love the water! I was hoping to find a beach or jump into the water somehow. Unfortunately, I'm told the water isn't safe to swim.
