Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast is beautiful! No doubt about that.

Driving along the Amalfi Coast while trying not to drive off the cliff because the stunning view of the blue water is beautiful.

Or looking at the hand painted pottery is beautiful.

Or eating fish is delicious.

Or drinking the best limoncello is the only way to end a beautiful evening.

When planning a trip I suggest you plan enough time to relax. And if you are going during high season- pack patience. The traffic with big tour buses can be annoying. Or the large ferries that transport you to Capri.

Another point I want to make- don't go to the Amalfi coast for it's beaches. Yes Positano has a beach- but it's little pebbles. No white sand. Rather, the way to enjoy the sea would be to become friends with a Hollywood star and get invited on their boat. Allowing for the time to sail around Capri and jump off the boat into the water.

I loved visiting the Blue Grotto! It was a really cool experience to go in. However be warned to have cash to tip.
