A lot of people think that the Pope celebrates mass to the general public on Sundays. But sadly he doesn't.
Inside St. Peter's Basilica there are masses about every hour.
My favorite church inside the Vatican is St. Ann's. You won't find it near St.Peter's square. You must walk towards Piazza del Risorgimento. And you will find a gate on your left. Look for the Swiss Guard and you can enter the gate if you are attending mass at St. Ann's. The church is located right behind the Vatican wall very close to the gate. On Sunday afternoons at 3:30pm there is a mass in English.
