I saw a Black Bear...

I saw a black bear crossing the street on skyline drive at Shenandoah National Park. I just wish I was able to take a picture. Even though my phone was in my hand, I decided just to look at the bear with my own eyes. I knew my picture wouldn't be worth it.

What a beauty! The bear had shiny black fur, and was fat! This bear was alert and knew to turn his head left and right to check for car before crossing the street.

Besides seeing a bear, I hiked with my boyfriend on Hawksbill trail. The first mile was a steep incline and intense for me since I have asthma. But once we reached Byrd's nest look out I finally caught my breathe. The views were spectacular! And the rest of the hike was down hill.
